Preston Jesick was raised on the Western Slope of Colorado, where his initial exposure to filmmaking came from Warren Miller ski videos. This early influence inspired him to produce his own snowboard films for the Aspen Valley Ski & Snowboard Club. His passion for filmmaking led him to specialize in gripping and rigging techniques, further honed during his education at the Colorado Film School.
